1/19/2024 0 Comments Goodnotes hacks and tipsGrowing up the fat, neurodivergent kid did a number on me lol. I can definitely type faster than I write but my biggest issue has always been I just scribble fast because I used to get in trouble for being the last one to write notes. Thanks to seeing future things well in advance, I just confirmed that my cardiologist appt doesn’t conflict with a wedding, and that I need to look at AirBnBs now □ When an event has passed, or the month is finished, move those pages into “The Past” - this is just personal reference for me, because I am weirdly obsessed with personal archives, but that’s just to help my poor memory. Someone says “let’s grab lunch next week!” you can make a page about that event before next month and see it □ When I see a flier online for an event? Copy and paste in sequence. The big help for me is that each event or individual day has its own little page in chronological sequence. Then there is an individual page for each individual month, (also with a quick screen capture calendar of that month for date reference) and space for tiny quick notes. “Upcoming” starts with a screencap of this year’s calendar for date reference. One is “Upcoming ALL” and the other is “The Past.” My favorite ADHD-related use is to keep two time-specific journals. I definitely make quick phone notes, and expand/tidy them later! It’s really handy - the sync is almost instant. Otherwise GoodNotes might help you improve your penmanship! Did you get a textured film for the screen? PaperFeel covers are fantastic, the texture helps me write because I suck at writing on glass □ If you can’t read your handwriting, then a keyboard might be a great pick! I have a little $50 Bluetooth keyboard that I randomly use when drafting (I can type faster than writing, so it’s handy).
